Johnny A. Giavotella Jr. was born and raised in New Orleans, attending Jesuit High School and then the University of New Orleans. He was drafted after his Junior year of college by the Kansas City Royals in the 2nd round and played professional baseball for 11 years, including 7 years in the Major Leagues for the Royals, Angels and Orioles. During his playing career Johnny accumulated real estate, and has bought, managed, rented, and sold multiple pieces of property since 2009. He knows the New Orleans metropolitan real estate market extremely well and takes pride in putting his customers first, making sure his agent/client relationships are first class.
After his baseball career ended in 2018, Johnny returned to UNO to get his undergraduate degree in Business Administration. He is currently studying for his Master's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate and specialization in Analytics from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University with graduation in May 2021. Johnny is a fixture in the community and stays active in giving back to his native city of New Orleans.
